Recruiting Options & Fees

Management Recruiters of Richmond provides two different levels of search to fulfill your recruiting needs. If neither urgency nor confidentiality is a significant factor, or if you plan to enlist multiple recruiters for a search, traditional Contingency Search should be adequate. Contingency search provides both you and the recruiter maximum flexibility. Since your company incurs no expense unless you hire from the recruiter, you can pursue any and all options to generate candidates for your position. Keep in mind that most recruiters have up to 10 times the number of contingency searches than they will fill. With contingency searches recruiters have flexibility to deploy resources selectively and work on assignments they deem most likely to generate income.

Our second recruiting option is a variation of retained search which we call an Engagement Search. You’re hiring us to recruit and judge talent as specialists in our field. Usually, confidentiality or urgency is important. An upfront and non-fundable commitment is required to engage the search. A dedicated project team is assigned to your search and the search is worked every day until completed. Since you have skin in the game we know we’ll get the cooperation needed for mutual success……therefore we will invest full resources into your search.

 

Contingency Search features

  • Costs are 100% contingent upon successful hire of our referral
  • You will interview 80% of referrals we make to you
  • Candidates are referred non-exclusively (may be referred to other clients)
  • Fee is based upon a fixed percentage of the first year earnings of candidate
  • We successfully complete 25% of our contingency searches

 

Engagement Search features

  • You will interview 80% of referrals we make to you
  • Candidates are referred exclusively for 45 days
  • A dedicated project team is assigned to your search
  • 1/3 of estimated fee is non-refundable and due upon contract execution
  • Remaining 2/3 fee is contingent upon successful hiring of a referred candidate
  • We successfully complete 95% of engagement searches
