This global automotive components manufacturer is US based with revenue growth exceeding +20% annually. The firm has been in an active acquisition mode and organic growth is very strong. Expansion includes its first international push with three plants in the less than 3 years. The firm’s northern Indiana location is ranked among the best site, and although not the largest plant, this site leads all others for generating promotions and leaders at other sites/acquisitions. The Human Resource Manager leads all HR functions for the site, including both strategic and tactical activities. The site is non-union, revenues exceed $70 mil, and its workforce continues to expand over the current level of 250+. This site continues to experience new business and new applications which assure ongoing growth.
Our client requires a Bachelors degree, preferably in Human Resources or Organizational Development. A Masters in Human Resources or a related major, perhaps an MBA, is highly desirable. Qualified individuals must have at least 15 years experience in a manufacturing environment. Prior automotive component manufacturing experience is desired. Broad HR experience is required as this role leads HR administration, records, and audit for all site employees, hourly and salary. The role leads all hiring functions, payroll administration, benefits, as well as compliance systems and data. Prior experience is required in recruiting and hiring hourly workers and professional technical staff. Experience with Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance is preferred. Superior communication skills are required effectively communicate at all levels of a manufacturing organization, plus serve as the company representative within the community.
