Both organic growth and acquisitions have contributed to this corporation’s successful US and international expansion. Multi-billion revenues have quadrupled in less than a decade built upon a laser focus of customer metrics and incessant drive for continuous improvement. The corporation strives for leadership at building its lean culture and driving deployment of TPS initiatives worldwide. The role of corporate Director of Lean joins an elite team to guide, assist, and deploy the lean roadmap at multiple sites throughout N. America. The position is designated as a developmental role, earmarked for 20-24 month progression into elevated operations management responsibilities (GM/VP Operations).

This client requires a Bachelors degree, preferring an Engineering discipline, and an MBA. Individuals must have experience leading Kaizen events for concepts such as 5S, kanbans, visual factory, setup reduction, error-proofing, etc. Individuals must have at least 12 years experience in manufacturing leadership roles such as operations management, process/manufacturing engineering, supply chain, quality, or continuous improvement. Prior site leadership of at least a $30 million revenue manufacturing site is required. Individuals must display a record of achievement and progressive elevation of responsibilities. As this role consults to and advises Site Managers and General Managers, breadth of experience is important and superior communication/leadership skills are requisite. This is a data-driven culture focused on customer performance metrics and our client will only consider individuals with a like mindset. High travel is required for 18-24 months, but the role can be executed from most US locations with reasonable access to a respectable US airport.
