Our $2+ billion client is a manufacturer of engineered industrial and commercial products. This division is focused on growth strategies and poised to pursue acquisitions domestically and internationally. This divisions sales and marketing teams are being expanded to better capitalize on near and long-term product opportunities. This Product Mgr will manage P&L for key products in the new growth strategies while reporting directly to the VP Sales & Marketing. Products are mechanical, electromechanical, and solid state instrumentation used in energy, construction, mining, and marine applications. Customers are both original equipment manufacturers and a significant distributor network. This role is viewed as developmental with ascension expected into significant sales or marketing management leadership.
Requirements include an Engineering or technical Bachelors degree, with an MBA or significant progress toward attainment. Candidates must have at least six years experience with industrial product sales, marketing, or design of products using fluid power technology. Experience with products/applications for the oil and gas industry is specifically preferred. Candidates must be aware of special requirements and quality associated with products used in hazardous locations or environments. Superior communication skills are required for success with customers, internal business process staff, company leadership, and to provide technical product training to sales staff.
