This $200+ million firm is an industry leader, providing manufactured products, equipment, and services from 40+ locations in the US. With corporate headquarters in Chicago, this site is uniquely located for high visibility and exposure to the corporate leadership team. The company is engaged in a significant transformation to establish lean concepts of waste reduction, continuous improvement, within an environment focused on daily performance metrics and deliverables to the customer. This role is viewed as an excellent development role to ascend to Director of Operations at this location others strategic US sites. Success in this position requires superior communication skills at all levels plus the ability to mentor and develop a successful team.
This position requires a Bachelors degree…..an MBA or significant progress towards an MBA will not go without notice by the corporate leadership team. Individuals must have at least six years experience in production leadership roles. Prior experience is required with lean/TPS concepts such as standardized work, 5S, and participation in kaizen events. To succeed in this environment, individuals must be accustomed to robust performance metrics and accountability required at all levels.
