This client is a publicly traded, multi-billion $ manufacturing organization with more than 30 plants worldwide. Corporate leadership continues to push an agenda of growth, new products development, capital investment, and expansion. The facility is a technical environment with a highly skilled workforce of engineers, scientists, and technicians. The role of Process Engineer supports a product area to improve equipment and processes, resolve quality and capacity issues, and to launch and refine new product applications. This is a metrics-focused and continuous improvement environment with a strong commitment to safety. Successful performers should enjoy a dual career path into either technical or operations leadership.

Requirements include a technical Bachelors degree with a preference for Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. The client prefers a technical Masters or MBA. Prior work experience must include at least three years experience in process/manufacturing engineering to support production activities such as trouble-shooting, cost reduction, setup reduction, cycle time reduction, as well as process refinement for the launch of new products. Prior experience with fluid processes or material deposition is required. Equipment experience must include prior experience with pumps, filters, spraying, or heat-assisted drying processes. Prior Six Sigma training/certification is preferred. Superior communication skills are required for success and development into leadership assignments.
