Our client is a publicly traded, multi-billion $ manufacturing firm with more than 30 plants worldwide. The corporation posted 20% revenue growth last year and 65% increment over the last four years. Corporate leadership continues to push an agenda of growth, new products, investment, and expansion. In a technical environment with a skilled workforce, this division is expanding its technical group with the addition of a Process Engineer. The role supports a Business Unit to improve equipment and processes, to resolve quality and capacity issues, and to launch and refine new product applications. This is a metrics-focused and continuous improvement environment with a strong commitment and performance for safety. Successful performers enjoy a dual career path into either technical or operations leadership.
Our client requires a technical Bachelors degree with a preference for Materials, Chemical Eng, or Mechanical Engineering. Individuals must have at least three years experience in manufacturing with at least two years successful support of production operations. The client prefers a technical Masters or MBA. Prior experience with fluid processes or material deposition is required. Equipment experience must include prior familiarity with pumps, filters, spraying, or heat-assisted drying processes. Prior Six Sigma training/certification is preferred. Superior communication skills are required for success and development into leadership assignments.
