**Offer Impending**A strategy to expand by generic growth and actively pursue acquisitions has pushed this corporation beyond $2 bil in revenues. New industrial/commercial products and business units have been added to North American sites and international locations. Corporate leadership drives aggressive deployment of lean/TPS initiatives worldwide and requires solid customer metrics at each site. The role of Manufacturing Engineering Manager is key to active deployment of lean principles, cellular/flow changes, and leading capital programs to improve the site’s customer performance metrics. A staff level role, it is designated as a developmental role into operations/plant management within a 2-year time frame.
This client requires a Bachelors degree, preferring Mechanical Engineering, and an MBA or significant progress toward MBA attainment. Required experience includes prior leadership of Kaizen events for concepts such as 5S, kanbans, visual factory, setup reduction, error-proofing, etc. Individuals must have at least seven years experience in operations related manufacturing roles such as operations management, process/manufacturing engineering, supply chain, quality, or continuous improvement. Viable candidates must have at least two years prior leadership of technical professional. Experience with metal fabrication/metalworking processes is preferred. This is an action-biased culture, focused on deliverables and requires individuals with a like mindset. Communication, team leadership, and people development skills are critical for success and advancement. .
