Continued growth and a persistent focus for technology require the addition of a Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor for one of its business units. The role leads a staff of engineering professionals and technicians to launch new products, manage equipment and tooling programs, and drive continuous improvement for existing products. Successful performance can offer dual career development prospects into either operations management or elevated technical leadership.
This client requires a technical Bachelors degree, preferably in mechanical engineering or a related discipline. Individuals must have at least six years manufacturing engineering experience, including at least two years in a lead or supervisory role. Process and equipment experience must include significant depth with injection molding processes and equipment. Prior experience is preferred with Tier 1 automotive systems, procedures, and project time lines. A mindset for continuous improvement, lean/TPS methodologies, and exceeding customer performance metrics is expected. Superior interpersonal skills are requisite for effective team and customer communications.
